Consulting for Change
A month-long consulting challenge for rising sophomore and junior undergraduate students interested in the field. In this challenge students will be asked to research, analyze and propose a solution to a real world problem. Anticipated June - July 2025.
What we know
Consulting as an industry is on the rise - each year more and more of our students finish their studies and immediately try to enter the consulting space.
a
Like many other professions, consulting is still a male-dominated space making it difficult for diverse talent to enter and rise in the field.
a
Students often enter the consulting uninformed and underprepared. Without academic programs geared specifically to the industry and only highly competitive internships directed toward more senior undergraduate students, it can be difficult for young talent to be developed.

The Solution
To address these issues we are developing Consulting for Change, a month-long consulting challenge for rising sophomore and junior undergraduate students interested in the field. In this challenge students will be asked to research, analyze and propose a solution to a real world problem.
Features
A real world problem: We know nothing can compare to the learning students do when they put their skills into practice in the context of the world they live in. We are partnering with nonprofits so students will not only have an opportunity to develop, they can effect real-world change.
a
Mentorship: Student teams will be lead by a mentor provided by one of our Industry Partners. this mentor will meet with students regularly to answer questions and provide advice based on their own professional experience. Not only will students have the opportunity to learn, mentors will have the opportunity to develop their own leadership skills.
a
Lunch and Learn: Each week all student participants will be required to attend a workshop where industry professionals will share insight into the field and/or teach skills key to being a successful consultant.
Industry Partners
We believe change doesn’t happen in a vacuum - the only way for us to make headway in achieving gender parity in the consulting industry is to work in tandem with the industry itself. We are seeking consulting firm partners to help make this impactful program a reality.
Nonprofit Partners
The best learning comes from practice in a real world context; we aim to provide a high impact learning experience for the next generation of young professionals while using our talent resources to make meaningful change in the community around us. Our students are ready to help you find a solution to a challenge within your organization.
